Woman to woman

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, "O Muslim ladies! A neighbouress should not look down upon the present of her neighbouress even it were the hooves of a sheep."
  Sahih al-Bukhari

How to treat neighbours

Narrates Ibn `Umar:
Allah' Apostle said, Gabriel kept on recommending me about treating the neighbors in a kind and polite manner, so much so that I thought that he would order (me) to make them (my) heirs."




The Prophet (ﷺ) said "Gabriel continued to recommend me about treating the neighbors Kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them as my heirs.

Who to fight

Surah Baqarah Chapter 2, Verse 190: "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not transgressors."

A person's duty

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The word 'Ar-Rahm (womb) derives its name from Ar-Rahman (i.e., one of the names of Allah) and Allah said: 'I will keep good relation with the one who will keep good relation with you, (womb i.e. Kith and Kin) and sever the relation with him who will sever the relation with you, (womb, i.e. Kith and Kin).

Jihad for Parents

A man said to the Prophet, "Shall I participate in Jihad?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are your parents living?" The man said, "Yes." the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do Jihad for their benefit."

Muhammad at his home

I asked `Aisha "What did the Prophet (ﷺ) use to do at home?" She said, "He used to work for his family, and when he heard the Adhan (call for the prayer), he would go out."

Jihad

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah's Cause, or like him who performs prayers all the night and fasts all the day."

Having Muhammad as an adversary

"He who hurts a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state, I am his adversary, and I shall be his adversary on the Day of a Judgement." (Bukhari)

One who hurts Muhammad and annoys God

"Whoever hurts a Non-Muslim citizen of a Muslim state hurts me, and he who hurts me annoys God." (Bukhari)

A believer in God in Islam

"He who believes in God and the Last Day should honour his guest, should not harm his neighbour, should speak good or keep quiet." (Bukhari, Muslim)

Muhammad warns

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him!) said:

“Whoever kills a person who has a truce with the Muslims will never smell the fragrance of Paradise.” (Saheeh Muslim)

Muhammad complains

“Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)

Who Muslims can't be friends with

 Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong. Surat Al-Mumtaĥanah

Who Muslims should fight

 Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.
Surat Al-Mumtahanah [60:8] 

Muhammad's duty

 Obey God then and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away (no blame shall attach to our Messenger), for the duty of Our Messenger is just to deliver the message. Surat At-Taghabun [64:12]

Discord in Quran


And tell my servants that they should speak in a most kindly manner (unto those who do not share their beliefs). Verily, Satan is always ready to stir up discord between men; for verily; Satan is mans foe .... Hence, We have not sent you (Unto men O Prophet) with power to determine their Faith. Surat Al-'Isra' [17:53]

Telling others about Islam


But if they turn away from you, (O Prophet remember that) your only duty is a clear delivery of the Message (entrusted to you).Surat An-Nahl [16:82]

Compulsion in religion in Islam

 “Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth has been made clear from error. Whoever rejects false worship and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things.Surat Al-Baqarah [verse 256]

Love and goodness in the Quran

Those who believe and do good deeds — the Gracious God will create love in their hearts.  (Al Quran, Surah Maryam 19, verse 97)

Helping others in the Quran

And him who seeks thy help, chide not.   (Al Quran Ad Duha 93 verse 11)

Opression of Orphans

So the orphan, oppress not.  (Al Quran, Ad-Duha, 93, verse 10)

Women as wives in the Quran

And they seek of thee the decision of the Law with regard to women. Say, Allah gives you His decision regarding them. And so does that which is recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls whom you give not what is prescribed for them and whom you desire to marry, and concerning the weak among children. And He enjoins you to observe equity towards the orphans. And whatever good you do, surely Allah knows it well.  (Al Quran An Nisa 4 verse 128)

Poor and orphans in the Quran

And when other relations and orphans and the poor are present at the division of heritage, give them something therefrom and speak to them words of kindness.   (Al Quran 4:9)

Marriage in the Quran

And if you fear that you will not be fair in dealing with the orphans, then marry of women as may be agreeable to you, two, or three, or four; and if you fear you will not deal justly, then marry only one or what your right hands possess. That is the nearest way for you to avoid injustice.  (Al Quran Chapter Women, Surah Nisa 4 verse 4)

Behaviour with orphan in the Quran

And they ask thee concerning the orphans. Say: ‘Promotion of their welfare is an act of great goodness. And if you intermix with them, they are your brethren. And Allah knows the mischief-maker from the reformer. And if Allah had so willed, He would have put you to hardship. Surely, Allah is Mighty, Wise.’    (Al Quran Baqarah, the Cow 2 verse 21)

Behaviour with spouse and tribulation

 Consort with them in kindness; and if you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing wherein Allah has placed much good.  (Al Quran An Nisa 4 verse 20)

Reward for good

And when he reached his age of full strength and attained maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge; and thus do We reward those who do good.  (Al Quran Al-Qasas 28, verse 15)
Their flesh reaches not Allah, nor does their blood, but it is your righteousness that reaches Him. Thus has He subjected them to you, that you may glorify Allah for His guiding you. And give glad tidings to those who do good.  (Al Quran Al-Hajj 22 verse 38)

Reward for doers of good

 And when he attained his age of full strength, We granted him judgment and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good.  (Al Quran Yusuf 12, verse 23)

Who has to do good in Islam

 No blame lies on the weak, nor on the sick, nor on those who find naught to spend, if they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is no cause of reproach against those who do good deeds; and Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.  (Al Quran Al-Bara'at / At-Taubah 9 verse 91)

When does the guide from God come?

And We gave him Isaac and Jacob; each did We guide aright, and Noah did We guide aright aforetime, and of his progeny, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward those who do good.  (Al Quran Surah Al An'am 6 verse 85)

The reward for those who do good

  So Allah rewarded them, for what they said, with Gardens beneath which streams flow. Therein shall they abide; and that is the reward of those who do good.  (Al Quran Al-Ma'idah 5 verse 86)

How to react to treacherous people in Islam

So, because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them, and have hardened their hearts. They pervert the words from their proper places and have forgotten a good part of that with which they were exhorted. And thou wilt not cease to discover treachery on their part, except in a few of them. So pardon them and turn away from them. Surely, Allah loves those who do good.  (Al Quran Al-Ma'idah 5, verse 14)

The faithful in Islam

And who is better in faith than he who submits himself to Allah, and he is a doer of good, and follows the religion of Abraham, the upright? And Allah took Abraham for a special friend.   (Al Quran An-Nisa' 4, verse 126)

What Allah loves

So Allah gave them the reward of this world, as also an excellent reward of the next; and Allah loves those who do good.   (Al Quran Chapter Aal-'Imran, verse 149)

Who Allah loves

Those who spend in prosperity and adversity, and those who suppress anger and pardon men; and Allah loves those who do good.  (Al Quran Aal-'Imran verse 135)

What one must respect being mindful of Allah

O ye people! fear your Lord, Who created you from a single soul and created therefrom its mate, and from them twain spread many men and women; and fear Allah, in Whose name you appeal to one another, and be mindful of your duty to Allah, particularly respecting ties of relationship. Verily, Allah watches over you.  (Al Quran, An-Nisa', verse 2)

Rewards in Islam

The reward of goodness is nothing but goodness. (Al Quran, chapter Ar-Rahman verse 61)

What to do gain god's help in Islam.

Indeed, Allah is with those who are righteous and those who do good.  (Al Quran Surat An-Nahl verse 129)

Who God is with in Islam

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And Indeed, Allah is with those who are of service to others. (Al Quran Surat Al-Ma`arij verse70)

The Quran on Muslim behaviour

Indeed, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred; and forbids indecency, and manifest evil, and wrongful transgression. He admonished you that you may take heed. (Al Quran,  91)


How a Muslim should spend his life

It is not righteousness that you turn your faces to the East or the West, but truly righteous is he who believes in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Book and the Prophets, and spends his money for love of Him, on the kindred and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and those who ask for charity, and for ransoming the captives; and who observes Prayer and pays the Zakat; and those who fulfill their promise when they have made one, and the patient in poverty and afflictions and the steadfast in time of war; it is these who have proved truthful and it is these who are the God-fearing.  (Al Quran Surat Al-Baqarah, verse 178)
